ebenfalls zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe geh\u00f6rt.\nDieser beeindruckende Stadtbogen mit einer L\u00e4nge von \u00fcber 19 m und einer H\u00f6he von 20 m diente im ersten Jahrhundert n. Chr. als Tor zur r\u00f6mischen Stadt Arausio.\n\nEs wurde unter Tiberius zu Ehren der Veteranen der zweiten gallischen Legion von C\u00e4sar, den Gr\u00fcndern der Stadt, errichtet und ist ein au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnliches Monument der r\u00f6mischen Kunst.\nEs besteht aus drei Buchten und einer doppelten Attika und ist mit einem reichen Dekor aus Waffentafeln geschm\u00fcckt, die an die Siege der r\u00f6mischen Armee \u00fcber die barbarischen V\u00f6lker erinnern: Schilde, Helme, Schilder und au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnliche maritime Attribute zeugen von der Vorherrschaft
