August 1869 wurde <strong>die erste &#8220;F\u00eate Romaine&#8221;<\/strong> veranstaltet, um zeitgen\u00f6ssische franz\u00f6sische Dramatiker musikalisch zu w\u00fcrdigen, insbesondere mit der Oper <em>Joseph<\/em> von Etienne M\u00e9hul. Dank des Engagements lokaler Pers\u00f6nlichkeiten wie F\u00e9lix Ripert, Antony R\u00e9al und Paul Mari\u00e9ton und der Mobilisierung der Institutionen konnte sich dieses Festival dauerhaft etablieren. Im Sommer verlegte die Com\u00e9die-Fran\u00e7aise ihre B\u00fchne nach Orange, um antike St\u00fccke aufzuf\u00fchren, und 1903 trat <strong>Sarah Bernhardt<\/strong> hier in dem St\u00fcck <em>Ph\u00e8dre<\/em> auf. Ein weiteres Markenzeichen sind ihre grandiosen B\u00fchnenbilder, wie zum Beispiel bei Elektra (1991), Hoffmanns Erz\u00e4hlungen (2000) oder Der Barbier von Sevilla (2018). <\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"line-height: 115%; margin: 0cm 6.6pt .0001pt 0cm;\"><span lang=\"DE\" style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;\"><br>Vor jeder Oper sind rund <strong>1 000<\/strong> Personen zwei Wochen lang im Einsatz, wobei das Theater zu einem regelrechten Dorf wird: Techniker, aus\u00fcbende K\u00fcnstler und Kreative setzen alles daran, dass die Auff\u00fchrung ein Erfolg wird.
